It has been announced that a "Movie Etiquette Lesson" video, a collaboration between Disney Animation's "Zootopia 2" (released December 5th) and TOHO Cinemas, will be screened at TOHO Cinemas nationwide (excluding some theaters). This will be for a limited time only, from September 5th to December 4th.
"Zootopia 2" is the sequel to "Zootopia," which was released in 2016. Following on from the previous film, actress Aya Ueto voices the rabbit police officer Judy, and voice actor Toshiyuki Morikawa voices Judy's fox partner, Nick. The two also narrate the "Special Movie Manners Lesson" in the same roles.
The video shows a variety of unique animals gathered in the theater, including Clawhauser, a popular character from the previous film, and Gary the snake, who makes his first appearance in "Zootopia 2." While everyone seems to be enjoying the movie together, the free-spirited animals are noisy and do whatever they want. Judy and Nick then teach the animals proper manners in the theater.
The promotional video began streaming on Disney Studios' official YouTube channel at 1:00 PM on September 4th. Starting with Ueto calling out the title, animals start popping out one after another, hinting at something exciting to come.
The previous film, "Zootopia," was set in the world of Zootopia, where animals live in a high-tech, civilized society like humans, and depicted Judy meeting Nick, overcoming difficulties together and growing into an accomplished police officer.
In the sequel, Nick, who has successfully graduated from police academy and become a police officer, and Judy, the first rabbit police officer, are more enthusiastic than ever about their duties as they once again team up to embark on a great adventure.
