Gundam W 30th Anniversary Official Book

The three-sided box designs, illustrated by Yoshihito Hishinuma and Junya Ishigaki, for the official book commemorating the 30th anniversary of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing & Endless Waltz 30th Anniversary Official Book - Operation 30th-," have been revealed. The designs include Wing Gundam Zero and Wing Gundam Zero EW.

The official book, consisting of three volumes, contains a large number of production materials, such as the storyboards for the first episode of the TV series and the "Endless Waltz Special Edition," the opening and ending animations of the TV series by character designer Shukou Murase, corrections by the animation director, and various line drawing settings.

The 30th anniversary will be celebrated with a roundtable discussion featuring Hikaru Midorikawa, Akiko Yajima, Takehito Koyasu, and Ryotaro Okiayu, as well as a roundtable discussion with Toshihiko Seki, Shigeru Nakahara, Ai Orikasa, and Ryuzo Ishino. It will be released on December 12th for 16,500 yen. Preorders are being accepted on the Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai, and elsewhere.

It was also announced that acrylic art panels and other items will be sold at theaters showing the Dolby Cinema version of "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing : Endless Waltz Special Edition." The acrylic art panel (3,850 yen) features designs of Wing Gundam Zero and Gundam Epyon. Also on sale will be a colored paper art set (1,650 yen) featuring illustrations by Shukou Murase (2,200 yen), a can badge and acrylic stand set (2,200 yen) featuring setting drawings from the 30th anniversary video, and an endless calendar (3,300 yen) featuring famous scenes.

The Dolby Cinema version will be screened in theaters for two weeks only, from September 5th to 18th. A special bonus for moviegoers will be a miniature illustration of a specially drawn character.
