Advance screening of the movie "JAZZ NOT ONLY JAZZ" begins on September 12th

The theatrical version of "JAZZ NOT ONLY JAZZ," a live event by the next-generation band "The Shun Ishiwaka Septet," led by jazz drummer Shun Ishiwaka, will be released nationwide on September 19th. Prior to that, it has been revealed that an advance screening in Dolby Atmos will be held in 18 theaters from September 12th. It has also been announced that an advance opening day stage greeting will be held at 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) on the same day.

The theatrical version of "JAZZ NOT ONLY JAZZ" (produced and distributed by WOWOW) is a video of a "one-night-only session" held by The Shun Ishiwaka Septet at NHK Hall (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) last June. Guest performers included artists from Aina the End, pianist Hiromi Uehara, singer-songwriter Trio Ohashi, Takao Tajima of the music unit Original Love, rapper PUNPEE, and singer-songwriter Yasuyuki Horigome.

An advance opening day stage greeting will be held at 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku Theater 3 before the 1:15pm screening on September 12th. Ishiwaka and jazz critic Nagira Mitsutaka will be on stage.

Tickets will go on sale from noon on August 29th on the 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku website and at the theater box office (if tickets are sold out online, they will not be sold at the theater). Ticket prices are 8,000 yen for "CLASS S" and 6,000 yen for "CLASS A." The price includes a welcome concession (soft drinks and popcorn). The main lounge will be available one hour before the screening begins. Attendees to "CLASS S" will be able to use the premium lounge "OVERTURE" after the screening.

Additionally, 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku will be reselling the official "JAZZ NOT ONLY JAZZ" T-shirt, which was sold out before the show even began at last year's live event and was said to be a "phantom T-shirt" - limited to 200 copies. It will be sold at the souvenir shop "POST CREDIT" on the 9th floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, where 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku is located. The price is 4,500 yen.

The cinemas where the exclusive Dolby Atmos advance screening will be held are as follows: Tickets cost 3,500 yen, while advance tickets (online) cost 3,200 yen.
