Additional cast members have been announced for the drama series "Even if All Love Ends" (ABC TV/TV Asahi, Sundays at 10:15 PM), which will begin airing on October 12th and stars actors Wakana Aoi and Fuju Kamio. Naniwa Danshi's Joichiro Fujiwara Miyu Honda Miyu, Koki Yamashita, Moka Otsuka, Shirasu Jin, and Ichikawa Yui will also appear.
The drama is based on the short story collection of the same name by Fuyuno Yozora (Starts Publishing), which contains various heartbreaking love stories in 140 characters. It is a heartbreaking love story about eight men and women, centered around the two main characters who live in changing environments as they go through high school, college, and the working world.
Fujiwara will play Nishi Hayate, a high school classmate of the two main characters, Hazawa Yu (played by Aoi) and Osaki Mao (played by Kamio). Nishi's family home is close to Mao's, and he has been her best friend since middle school. He is a caring person with many friends, both male and female, but he doesn't seem interested in romance...
Fujiwara said, "The film made me realize that there are many different types of love, and that no two loves are the same. At the same time, it brought up feelings of loneliness, sadness, and a variety of other emotions. It's a touching film that makes you feel grateful to your loved ones and those around you, and reminds you that what you take for granted is not necessarily so. I hope you'll look forward to it."
Honda will play Mao's younger sister, Osaki Ritsu. She has had a crush on her childhood friend Hayate since she was little, but has not been able to express her feelings to him. Honda commented, "I will live the life of Osaki Ritsu, cherishing every single scene and word. I am looking forward to the broadcast to see which scenes everyone will relate to!"
Yamashita and Otsuka will play Aoi and Sachi, who attend the same high school as Yu and Mao. Aoi, who has difficulty fitting in with others, often reads books alone at a coffee shop, and Sachi becomes interested in him and approaches him.
Shirasu plays Nokita Shuntaro, who is in charge of sales planning at a shopping mall management company, and Ichikawa plays Miyauchi Ikuko, an apparel shop buyer who is a little older than Nokita. Unlike the other three pairs, Shirasu and Ichikawa portray the "fateful love" of adults in their 30s.
