The 102nd episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and other times), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on August 19th, and viewers were drawn to Takashi's ( Takumi Kitamura) reaction.
In episode 102, Nobu (Imada), who has been fired from her job, is encouraged by Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima) who tells her, "There's no need to be so depressed."
Tomiko says she has started a tea ceremony class, and two of her students arrive. Tomiko introduces Nobu as "Nobu, my son's wife." When one of the students expresses surprise, "Are you the wife of lyricist Takashi Yanai?" Tomiko happily replies, "Taka's father was passionate about literature, and it seems I inherited that blood."
The scene changes to the Yanai household. Nobu tells Taka, "Your mother was always bragging about you." When Taka says, "You were so against it when I quit Samsung Department Store," Nobu recalls Tomiko's behavior, saying, "I'm happiest when my son succeeds. And about the wrapping paper..."
Tomiko proudly tells her students, "My son wrote the letters on that wrapping paper." When one of her students expresses admiration, saying, "Your eldest son is quite talented, having talents other than songwriting," Tomiko smiles and says, "When I was a child, I always drew pictures and was a dreamy child. I think it's best for a person to follow the path they love."
When Taka heard the story from Nobu, he spit out the tea he was drinking and retorted, "How dare you. Have you forgotten how I urged you to become a doctor?"
