"Disney Twisted Wonderland" anime opening video released

Seven preview cuts from the opening scene of the anime "Disney Twisted Wonderland The Animation" based on the popular smartphone game "Disney Twisted Wonderland (Twisted)" have been released. The cuts depict students from the six dormitories other than the Heartslabyul dorm, and are condensed with the characteristics and charms of each dorm. A cut featuring all the people involved in school life at Night Raven College, including teachers, was also released.

23 new cast members for the anime were announced at once. It was revealed that the voice actors from the game, including Yuichiro Umehara as Azure Kingscholar of the Savanaclaw dorm, Atsushi Tamaru as Azul Ashengrotto of the Octavinelle dorm, Yuki Aiba as Vil Schoenheit of the Pomefiore dorm, Koki Uchiyama as Idea Shroud of the Ignihyde dorm, and Kazuki Kato as Malleus Draconia of the Diasomnia dorm, will be continuing to play their roles.

"Twisted Wonderland" is set at the prestigious magic school Night Raven College, and features characters inspired by villains from Disney works, as well as seven dormitories inspired by the worlds of works such as "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Lion King." Yana Toboso , known as the author of the popular manga " Black Butler ," which was also made into an anime, is in charge of the original concept, main scenario, and character design.

The anime will be produced by Yumeta Company and Graphinica, with Takahiro Natori as general director and Shin Katakai as director. Season 1 "Episode of Heartslabyul", Season 2 "Episode of Savanaclaw", and Season 3 "Episode of Octavinelle" will be produced based on the comic adaptation of the game. Season 1 will be exclusively distributed on Disney Plus from October.
