The official trailer and synopsis for the latest film in the GARO series, GARO TAIGA (released October 17th), which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, have been released. The trailer is full of action scenes, depicting the exploits of the main character, Saejima Taiga (Kitada Shoichiro), as well as the film's main characters, the demonic horror beast Hebi-do (Seto Riki), Fuki (Kamishima Rika), and the sacred beast Byakko (Namioka Kazuki). The theme song, "TAIGA ~Guardian, Like the Wind~", written by the popular anime song group JAM Project, will also be played.
This work will reveal the "untold story" of the younger days of Makai Knight Taiga Saejima, the father of Saejima Kouga, the main character of "GARO". The original author of the series, Keita Amemiya, will be the director and scriptwriter.
The Saejima family is a family of Makai Knights who inherit the title of "Golden Knight Garo". Saejima Taiga is a young Makai Knight born into this family who has just inherited the Golden Armor. Taiga, who is spending his days fighting the Horrors, receives a new command: "Recover the Compass that has fallen into the hands of the Horrors - the magical tool that contains the soul of the Sacred Beast."
The "Sacred Beasts" are the great powers that protect humans. The souls of the four gods, Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise, and White Tiger, are contained in the "Compass" and govern the peace of the human world. However, the Compass was stolen by the hands of the Demonic Horror, Hebi-do. Taiga, together with Fuki, a Makai Master who serves the shrine of the Sacred Beasts, throws himself into the battle to get the Compass back...
Movie tickets with special bonuses will go on sale at cinemas from July 25th. The bonuses are a sticker (5 types in total) drawn by Director Amemiya and a mini clear file with a design of the compass that holds the key to the story.
