WEST.Fujii Ryusei:If I were to go undercover, I would dress up as a woman and show up to our live show, and I would be the first to scream, "Scream!"

On July 17th, Ryusei Fujii of the popular group "WEST." attended the preview screening of the drama series " Stingers " (Fuji TV, Tuesdays at 9pm, starting on the 22nd), starring Aoi Morikawa , held in Tokyo. When asked what he would be like and what he would do if he were to go undercover, he revealed, "I would like to dress up as a woman and infiltrate the audience at our live show."

Fujii stated his opinion, "I want to be the first to scream 'Kyaaa' in the audience at a live show. People who take the initiative are quite important!" When his co-star Tetsuji Tamayama challenged him, saying, "If you're in the audience, it means you're not on stage, right?", he became embarrassed and said, "I didn't really think about the setting that deeply..." but added emphatically, "Anyway, I want to liven up the live show from the audience side."

The drama is an original story depicting the exploits of the Stingers, a maverick team within the Metropolitan Police Department that takes on the notorious practice of "undercover investigations," a practice that has yet to be firmly established as a system in Japan. The drama is a detective drama set in a pop world, with Nikaido Tamiko (Morikawa) the protagonist, a female investigator who has returned from the United States. Fujii will play Inui Shingo, a detective who has been assigned to the Stingers from the First Investigative Division.

Also attending the event were Morikawa, Hongo Sara Shida , Kanata Hongo , Haruhi Iuchi, and Sugimoto Tetta.
