Actor Nao Omori will be appearing on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on July Getsuku.
His father is the avant-garde dancer and actor Maro Akaji. His mother was also famous in various ways in the Shinjuku area in the 1960s and 1970s. His parents lived apart from his mother from when he was a child, and his father returned home about once a year. It was his mother who raised him. He didn't say anything when he didn't study, and when he occasionally met his father, he would suddenly bite him on the head, but his mother would laugh and say, "That was a 'Wild Kingdom' style of upbringing."
His parents' experiences served as a negative example to him, and he started to want to live a normal life. Now married and father to a 6-year-old daughter, Omori says he enjoys interacting with his fellow dads and moms.
