The 14th episode of the TV anime "Witch Watch", based on the popular manga by Kenta Shinohara currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), "Uron Mirage Episode 119 'Fuzzy Extermination -4'", was broadcast on July 6th, and it was revealed that the manga "Uron Mirage" that appears in the show has been made into an anime. It was said that the anime was produced with a lot of energy, not just "roughly", and it was revealed that the cast included a luxurious cast of voice actors, including Ryoko Shiraishi as Sora Akizuki, Hiro Shimono Yoshino as Oboro Namizaki, Tomokazu Sugita as Sagiri Kusama, Tomokazu Sugita as Zack Balan, Ami Koshimizu as Hozuki Shirafuji.
In addition to key visuals, theme songs were also created for "Uron Mirage," with the music unit "Who-ya extended" performing the opening theme (OP) "Bitter end" and singer-songwriter LEO's solo project "ALI" performing the ending theme (ED) "FLASHBACK SYNDROME."
Who-ya extended commented, "We are Who-ya Extended, and we will be performing the opening theme for the TV anime series "Uron Mirage <Witch Watch>." We've always loved the world of 'Witch Watch', which goes beyond a chuckle and has a heartwarming comedy amidst it all, so we were very happy when we heard about the project. In particular, since this is the 'Uron Mira' episode, we created a song called 'Bitter end' that is both cool and playful. We hope that you will enjoy the anime, not just roughly, but thoroughly!"
ALI said, "I'm really grateful to have been involved in the ending of Uron Mirage, the huge hit Weekly Shonen Jaguar! I was captivated from the first episode and really looked forward to reading it in Jaguar every week. It was the most difficult production of my life...I depicted a life different from my own (a fictional world) and wrote songs about returning alive as a fictional new band. I hope you enjoy this musical, rock and roll journey. But have I really returned to the earth where I started??! It feels like the emptiness in my brain hasn't been filled yet...It's like the world and people have become more dangerous and I'm getting used to sadness...But while I feel that way, as I write this comment, I hope that it will make you laugh a little in your corner of the city, or give you the energy to live that will allow you to run through this crazy world at Mach speed. I can't wait for the release of Shonen Jaguar with this text in it!!"
