Actor Shiori Tamada will appear in the 25th episode (broadcast June 29th) of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring Ryusei Yokohama . She will play Wakanami, a prostitute from Yoshiwara who seduces Ichi ( Hio Miyazawa). A costume photo has also been released.
Tamada was born on February 20, 2002, and is 23 years old and from Miyagi Prefecture. In 2017, she won the judges' special award at the 15th All-Japan National Beauty Contest, and was selected as the 19th Unitika Mascot Girl in the same year, which drew a lot of attention. In recent years, she has been expanding her horizons as an actor.
"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture.
The subtitle of the 25th episode is "Ash Rain Falls on Nihonbashi". Tsutaju (Yokohama), who bought Maruya from Kashiwaraya, obtains cooperation from Ichi to open a store in Nihonbashi in exchange for the "picture of pilfering" that Suharaya (Kotaro Satomi) has.
Meanwhile, ashes fall on Edo as well due to the great eruption of Mount Asama. Tsutaju works hard to remove the ash from Toyu-cho. His efforts stir Teitei (AI Hashimoto), who had been turned away from him. Meanwhile, Ichi begins to fall in love with Daresode (Haruka Fukuhara)... and so the story unfolds.
