A trailer for the second part of the popular anime "Gundam" series' theatrical anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" (directed by Murase Shukou) titled "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: The Witch of Circe" has been released on YouTube. Hathaway Noah, Gigi Andalusia, Kenneth Sleg, Lane Aim, and others appear. There is also a scene of the XI Gundam flying.
"Hathaway's Flash" is based on a novel published in 1989-1990 by Director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the "father" of the "Gundam" series. Set in the year 0105 of the Universal Century, the story depicts Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, piloting a new mobile suit, the XI Gundam, in a rebellion against the Earth Federation government. The first part was released in June 2021 and was a hit, grossing approximately 2.23 billion yen.
The second part will be directed by Shukou Murase, director of "Genocidal Organ" as well as the first part, and will feature voice actors Kensho Ono as Hathaway, Reina Ueda Ueda as Gigi Andalusia, Junichi Suwabe as Kenneth Slegg, and Soma Saito as Lane Aim. It will be released this winter.
