It has been announced that an exhibition of Masamune Shirow, a manga artist known for works such as "Ghost in the Shell," titled "The World of Masamune Masamune Shirow: Ghost in the Shell and the Trajectory of Creation," will be held at Shinsaibashi PARCO (Chuo-ku, Osaka) from September 5th to October 5th. This is Masamune Shirow's first large-scale exhibition, which has been held at the Setagaya Literary Museum (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) since April 12th, and will travel to Osaka. The exhibition at the Setagaya Literary Museum is said to have attracted around 20,000 visitors, and will be held until August 17th.
At the Osaka venue, the exhibition content will be reconfigured to fit the space, and additional original exhibition goods will be sold. While the original paintings are on display at the Tokyo venue, the Osaka venue will focus on high-resolution reproductions from the perspective of preserving the artworks.
A behind-the-scenes video of the exhibition was also released on YouTube.
