The eighth episode of the drama series " Taigan no Kaji ~Kore ga, Watashi no Ikiru Michi~ " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actress Mikako Tabe , was broadcast on May 20th. In the preview for episode 9 (to be broadcast on May 27th), Shiho (Tabe) is heard saying, "I'm taking my housewife's paid leave," which became a hot topic on social media.

In episode 8, someone took a picture of Shiho together with Nakatani (Dean Fujioka). When Torarou ( Wataru Ichinose) saw the picture and became furious, Shiho explained that Nakatani had been feeling unwell and had just been resting at home for a while. However, Torarou just said, "You were so close together. In other words, you were just alone in the room, right? And nothing happened? Who would believe that?" and Shiho didn't believe him.
Shiho, angry at Torarou, leaves a note saying, "I'm going back to my parents' house for a while!" and leaves the house with Ichigo (Nagai Kana).
The preview for episode 9 features Shiho's line, "I'm taking a housewife's paid leave," along with a caption that reads, "Chaos ensues after a full-time housewife takes paid leave!?"
On social media, there were numerous comments such as, "'I'll take paid leave as a housewife' is such a powerful phrase lol," "'Paid leave for housewives' is such an amazing phrase," "I want paid leave for housewives," and "I want paid leave as a full-time housewife too."
