" Anpan " (NHK Asadora drama series starring Mio Imada ) (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 am and others). On May 17th, we will look back on the 7th week, "The Sea, Tears and Me" (May 12th to 16th).
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the seventh week, summer vacation begins and Nobu (Imada) returns home for the first time in a while to look for a job after graduation.
Takashi (Takumi Kitamura), who has also returned to Gomenyo Town for the summer vacation, brings along Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi). Takashi is worried about having upset Nobu over the phone, but Nobu refuses to meet with Takashi. Unable to bear the situation any longer, Meiko (Nanoka Hara) and Kentaro, with the help of Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa), take both Nobu and Takashi to the beach.
The two had finally made up, but Nobu had become a completely fanatical militaristic girl, and when Taka brought him a handbag as a souvenir from Tokyo, she rejected it, calling it "such a luxury item" and saying, "Think about the soldiers on the battlefield."
Eventually, Nobu regrets his actions, and on the day that Takashi returns to Tokyo, he runs to the station, but it is already too late. Takashi's uncle Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) gently comforts Nobu, saying that the two of them, who are now separated and have missed each other, may one day cross paths.
In the midst of all this, Nobu's post-graduation assignment was decided. And so, in March 1938, Nobu graduated from the Women's Normal School and took a new step forward... and so things continued.
