The drama series "Mamono" starring actress Kumiko Aso(TV Asahi, Friday 11:15pm *excluding some regions). The synopsis and stills from the 4th episode, which will air on May 16th, have been released.
Ayame Hanajin (played by Aso) was left alone in her room after being beaten by the enraged Toya Minamoto (played by Akihisa Shiono) and her house was ransacked. Even though she wanted to believe that what had just happened was a dream, the pain in her cheek and body would not allow it.
The next day, Ayame hides her wounds with makeup, finishes work with a strong spirit, and returns home to find Touya holding a flower in front of her apartment building. Touya apologizes with tears in his eyes, saying, "I didn't mean to do that," and Ayame is shaken. However, she refuses, saying, "We're over now."
Since that night, Touya has been sending flowers to Ayame's mailbox to convey his feelings. Ayame gradually begins to struggle with her feelings of wanting to forgive him for his bravery.
Touya's wife, Natsune (Kana Kita) begins to notice something strange about her husband. Natsune suddenly shows up at the law firm where Ayame works and says with a laugh, "Hey, teacher. Do you think I'm stupid?"
Meanwhile, unexpected new facts emerge in the murder of Nada Okutaro (Sano Shiro)...
The script was written by Erika Seki. This is a co-production between TV Asahi and South Korea's SLL, which has produced global hits such as "Itaewon Class." This is a love suspense drama in which a lone lawyer named Ayame falls in forbidden love with Toya, who becomes a suspect in a murder case.
