The Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Second to Last Love 3 " (Mondays at 9pm) starring Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai has released the synopsis and stills for the 6th episode, which will air on May 19th.
When the security alarm rang, Kazuhira Nagakura (played by Nakai) rushed into the bedroom of his next door neighbor, Chiaki Yoshino (played by Koizumi), only to find Chiaki asleep, completely naked and drunk.
The next morning, at Cafe Nagakura, Shinpei Nagakura (Kenji Sakaguchi) and Erina Nagakura (Ayana Shiramoto) were preparing breakfast. Wahei, who was feeling awkward, pretended to be normal. Mariko Nagakura (Yuki Uchida) and Noriko Mizutani (Naoko Iijima) were also there.
When Chiaki arrives, she tells the Nagakura family that she has received a call from her mother in Ueda, Shinshu. Her mother is so worried about her that she is trying to get her to return home under the false pretense that her father is unwell.
With Wahei's words, "Why not let her fool you?", Chiaki decided to return to Ueda. As she walked along the country road to her parents' house, Chiaki recounted her childhood memories. Wahei was listening to her next to her! Wahei had accompanied her on her trip home, disguised as Chiaki's "common-law lover".
Her mother Yuriko (Yoshiko Mita) and father Takashi (Soga Ogura) are surprised to see their daughter there. Chiaki feels relieved to see her parents in good health. They enjoy a long-awaited chat, but Yuriko confesses her regret over an accident that happened to Chiaki when she was a child, which was caused by her own carelessness. This confession also reveals a secret...
The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada, who also wrote the first and second seasons. Set in Kamakura, the story depicts the love between a TV station producer played by Koizumi and a Kamakura city employee played by Nakai. The theme song is also performed by Ayumi Hamasaki, who also performed the first and second seasons.
