It has been revealed that a sequel to the TV anime "Ace of Diamond of Diamond," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks in 2026 as "Ace of Diamond actII Second Season." This will be the first sequel in about six years to the TV anime "Ace of Diamond actII," which aired from April 2019 to March 2020. A teaser visual has been released, depicting Eijun Sawamura Kazuya Miyuki Kazuya with a powerful gaze.
Ryota Osaka , the voice actor who plays Eijun Sawamura, commented, "It's finally here, it's finally here. We've come this far thanks to everyone who supported us! And now that we've come this far, we want to see it through to the end! We still need your help! Having said that, I want everyone to enjoy the show, so please support us, both loosely and sometimes enthusiastically!"
Additional performers have been announced for the event "TV Anime ' Ace of Diamond actII' All-Star Game IV," to be held at Meiji Jingu Stadium (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) on December 14th. It has been revealed that Hiroaki Tajiri will be playing the role of Kenta Maezono, Shunsuke Takeuchi will be playing the role of Shoji Yuki, and Kensho Ono.
"Ace of Diamond" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) in 2006. The second part, "Ace of Diamond act II," began serialization in the same magazine in 2015, and the final episode aired in October 2022. The story follows the protagonist, Eijun Sawamura, who enrolls in Seidou High School, a prestigious high school baseball team, and aims to reach the top of the national baseball league with Kazuya Miyuki, Satoru Furuya Haruichi Kominato.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2013 to March 2015, the second season from April 2015 to March 2016, and "act II" from April 2019 to March 2020.
