It has been revealed that the characters "Three Porinkies" from the snack "Tabekko Dobutsu" (Koikeya) will be appearing in the animated feature film "Tabekko Dobutsu THE MOVIE" (directed by Takekiyo Hitoshi), based on the popular snack "Tabekko Doubutsu" (Ginbis). The Three Porinkies appear as the captain and co-pilot of the private jet that the Tabekko Dobutsu ride on, as well as the bartender on board. It was also announced that voice actor Show Hayami plays three different roles as the Three Porinkies. Hayami has played the Three Porinkies in revival commercials for "Porinky", among other things, and this marks his "return" to the role of Three Porinkies.
Hayami commented, "When I heard about the role, I was shocked. I mean, it's quite an international role. Polinky, the spot the difference character? A lot of question marks formed in my head. But when I read the script, watched the footage, and actually acted out the role, I felt like I fit in comfortably. In addition to "Porinky", it was revealed that the characters Umaemon from "Umaibo" (Yaokin), Yocchan and Taratara Shitenjane-yo from "Cut Yocchan" and "Taratara Shitenjane-yo" (Yocchan Food Industry) also appeared. Cuts of their appearance scenes were released.
