The third episode of the Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Second to Last Love 3 " (Monday 9pm) starring Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai was broadcast on April 28th. Koizumi's character Chiaki became a hot topic on social media.

The drama is set in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is the third season of the story that depicts the love between a TV station producer played by Koizumi and a city employee played by Nakai. The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada, who also wrote the first season in 2012 and the second season in 2014, and this work depicts the story 11 years after the second season.
One night, Mizutani Noriko (Iijima Naoko), who has been secretly dieting in order to appear in the magazine's "Yukebijin" gravure, comes to Chiaki's house. When she reveals that she will be appearing in "Yukebijin," Chiaki cheers her on, saying, "You know, if you're going to do it on impulse or out of desperation, I think you shouldn't do it at all. But if you really want to do it, I'll support you."
Amidst all this, Noriko spoke of her thoughts as a full-time housewife, saying, "There's an atmosphere of, 'Women don't keep quiet about things either, don't be ridiculous,' right? In that atmosphere, I guess you could say that full-time housewives are at a disadvantage. " "I guess you could say that I'm not fighting, there are times when I feel that way."
"So that's what you thought," Chiaki said, accepting Noriko's thoughts. "But weren't both full-time housewives and working women fighting their own battles? They just fought in different places. And now that you've finished raising your children, you're thinking about fighting in a new, different place, right? That's great, isn't it? I think it's cool," she gently told him.
Hearing Chiaki's words, Noriko bursts into tears, asking, "Really?" Chiaki then retorts, "What are you on about?" and cheerfully goes off to get some meat, saying, "You're such a crybaby because you eat nothing but cabbage. Let's grill some meat! You need meat to fight!"
On social media, comments such as, "'You've been eating only cabbage, you should eat some meat' to a sad housewife, that's great, Chiaki!", "'You need meat to fight!' Those are the words of her older sister, who is her senior in life", "That's right, meat meat meat!", "'Let's grill some meat, meat you need meat to fight!'... It's reassuring to have someone like Chiaki by your side", "Chiaki is so cool because he supports Noriko without rejecting her!" and "I love Yoshino Chiaki, her way of life is so cool."
