The 18th episode of the NHK morning drama " Anpan " starring Mio Imada(General Asadora , Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others) was broadcast on April 23rd, and showed Tomiko ( Nanako Matsushima) and Chiyoko (Naho Toda), who had not been getting along, suddenly hitting it off, which caused surprise among viewers.
In the 18th episode, after a fight between Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) and Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa) over the succession issue at Yanai Clinic, Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) tells them again that he doesn't need a successor. He tells them to keep trying until they find out what they want to do for a living. Takashi, who still doesn't know what he wants to be, decides to take the entrance exam for Kochi Daiichi High School, the most difficult school in Kochi, because he wants to see Tomiko's happy face.
One day, when Chiyoko worries that Yanai Clinic will have no heir, Tomiko tells her, "It's okay now. Takashi is serious about it," and "First, he will enter Kochi First High School... and in three years, he will go to the medical school at Kyoto Imperial University." Chiyoko is pleased and says, "That's just like our Hiroshi-san," and Tomiko smiles and says, "Now the clinic will be in good hands," and the two hit it off.
Later, when Tomiko and Chiyoko pass by Asada Bread, "Yam-onchan" Kusakichi (Sadao Abe) is surprised to see the two getting along well, saying, "They used to be such bad friends." Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) responds, "Women will unite if they have the same goal."
