Actor Ken Yasuda attended the production announcement for the drama series "I’m a D-list Handler" (Nippon TV, every Sunday at 10:30 pm), which begins on April 20, held in Tokyo on April 18.
As the drama features a complicated actor, a socially awkward highly educated talent, and a delusional idol, Yasuda was asked to compare himself to an "actor of some kind." He answered, "I'm an impatient actor," and confessed, "I'm always thinking about going home from the moment I get to the set. I don't dislike my job, but I feel like I'm always in a hurry."
He continued, "They say that an actor's job is to wait...but maybe I realized that too late, or maybe I'm not cut out for it (laughs).It was too late, so I'm going to keep doing it, though," and the audience erupted in laughter.
Chiba Yudai answered, "A gal-type actor," and said with a smile, "I work with a gal mind."
Kawaei Rina and Kichise Michiko also attended the production announcement.
