It has been announced that the musical "SPY×FAMILY", a musical based on the popular manga "SPY×FAMILY" by Tatsuya Endo, which is also popular as an anime, will be performed again at Nissay Theatre (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) from October 7th to 28th. A national tour will take place in Osaka, Fukuoka, Yamagata, Shizuoka, and Aichi in November and December. Visuals of the main characters, including Lloyd Forger and Yoru Forger, in costume have also been released. It has been announced that new cast members will appear in the revival, with Win Morisaki and Genki Hirakata playing Lloyd, Fuka Yuzuki and Sora Kazuki playing Yoru, and Takizawa Tsubasa and Yoshitaka Shion playing Yuri Briar in a double cast.
Also appearing in the film will be Nonoka Yamaguchi as Fiona Frost, Shogo Suzuki as Frankie Franklin, Souma Suzuki as Henry Henderson, and Manato Asaka as Sylvia Sherwood. Auditions are being held for the role of Anya Forger, a popular character.
The musical "SPY×FAMILY" premiered in March 2023 at the Imperial Theater (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, currently closed) and became a hot topic, with sales reaching full capacity every day.
"SPY×FAMILY" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in March 2019. The story is about a skilled spy who creates a temporary family for his mission and starts a new life. A spy father, a psychic daughter, and an assassin mother live together while hiding their true identities from each other. The comic series has sold over 38 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022, the second season from October to December 2022, and season 2 from October to December 2023. The animated film "Spy × Family Code: White" was released in December 2023 and was a huge hit, grossing 6.26 billion yen and attracting over 4.64 million viewers. Season 3 of the TV anime will begin airing in October.
