The 10th episode of the Monday 9pm drama " 119 Emergency Call " (Fuji TV, Monday 9pm) starring actress Nana Seino was broadcast on March 24th. The exchange between Kaneshita ( Koji Seto) and his former junior colleague Shiomi (Hinata Todo) became a hot topic on social media.

Two years ago, Kaneshita had a junior colleague named Shiomi who was seriously injured due to his own mistake and had to resign from the fire department. One day, Kaneshita saw Shiomi near his workplace and was worried about him.

Later, Kaneshita met Shiomi again. "I never thought I'd meet you. I'm sorry," his former junior apologized. Kaneshita responded, "Why is Shiomi apologizing? I'm the one who should be apologizing." He bowed his head and said, "Two years ago, I had to quit the firefighting because of me, and it's always bothered me, but I never even tried to get in touch with you. I'm truly sorry."

Shiomi then said, "Please stop. Please lift your head," revealing that it wasn't because of Kaneshita that he quit firefighting. He continued, "The truth is, even before that accident, my hands would shake uncontrollably every time I was called on to participate in a firefighting event. I was afraid of fire. But my grandfather and father have always been firefighters in my family, so I couldn't bring myself to say that I was afraid of fire. So, after that accident, I thought I finally had a reason to look cool and quit."

When Shiomi found out that Kaneshita had left the scene of his own accord and gone to the Command Section, he said, "If you're worried about me, that's fine, it's nothing to do with you." He went on to give Kaneshita some encouragement, saying, "Right now I'm working at a care facility, and it suits me quite well, so I'm having fun. So, if you ever want to come back, you can always do so. I support you as a citizen."

Kaneshita expressed his gratitude to his former junior colleague. On social media, comments such as "I was relieved to hear from him that he had no grudges. I'm glad the misunderstandings and resentment were cleared up," "I was moved by his expressions and lines in the scene where the resentment between the two of them melted away," "Good for you, Kaneshita!
