A teaser visual for the TV anime "Arcanadia" series of Kotobukiya's beautiful girl plastic models has been released. It depicts an unknown life form called Dears, an angelic girl named Lumitia, and in the background, a young man can be seen watching over Lumitia.
Shohei Chiba, who is in charge of planning and producing "Arcanadia," commented, "We announced the TV animation adaptation on the third anniversary of the series at the end of last year. This is the second time that Kotobukiya's original plastic model series has been adapted into a TV animation since Frame Arms Girl. I feel the weight of responsibility as a producer for this huge challenge, and the more people involved, the greater the pressure becomes every day, but I feel like I have somehow managed to get through this pressure without succumbing. We would like to thank everyone who has enjoyed and supported this series for three years! Thank you so much, everyone!"
"Rather than feeling anxious about the pressure, I feel more like I want to talk to our users about this and that anime as soon as possible, and that they will definitely get excited about that scene! All of the staff are working hard to make it enjoyable for everyone who has supported us so far, as well as for those who are experiencing the world of Arcanadia for the first time through this anime, so I hope you will look forward to it. Also, she said, "I don't think that a second anime adaptation is the goal. I see it as one of the ways to further expand the Arcanadia series, so I hope that in the future, starting with this anime, we can create various developments that will allow our customers to enjoy it even more. I would appreciate your continued support!"
"Arcanadia" is a plastic model series that Kotobukiya launched in December 2021 with the theme of "SF x Fantasy." The anime will be broadcast on TV Asahi.
