The commercial launch event for Kao's new product "Biore the Body" was held in Tokyo on March 12th, with Kanna Hashimoto Shinohara, and Kei Tanaka making an appearance. At the event, the three of them each spoke about what they wanted to try this spring.
When asked what she would like to try, Hashimoto held up a sign that read, "Improve your diet!!" and said, "There are things like intestinal health, but I think food is the key to staying healthy. I'm 26 now. Age is also a factor... When I was a teenager, I ate as much as I wanted of what I wanted, so I want to eat peaceful meals so I don't get heavy stomachs." She also said that she cooks for herself, and with a smile said, "I have quite a bit of time. I cook and eat at home."
He said that he recently made "oden," and revealed, "The preparation was a lot of work. Not only the broth, but each of the ingredients in oden is a lot of work. I thought that making it once a year would be fine (laughs)."
Kao will release a new body wash, "Biore the Body Totonoihada," which aims to improve the condition of skin that is a mixture of oily and dry, "sticky and dry skin," on April 12. The TV commercial featuring Shinohara, Tanaka, and Hashimoto will be aired nationwide from April 9.
