It has been announced that advance tickets for the compilation movie of Toei Animation's original anime "Girls Band Cry" with a bonus will go on sale on March 20th. The compilation movie is divided into two parts, and the Mubichike will be a set of the first part, "Compilation Movie: Girls Band Cry [Part 1] Youth Rhapsody," which will be released on October 3rd, and "Compilation Movie: Girls Band Cry [Part 2] Hey, Mirai," which will be released on November 14th. The bonus will be a clear file using the teaser visual of the band "Togenashi Togeari" from the movie. The price is 3,600 yen.
"Girls Band Cry" depicts the protagonist, Isekiri Nina, who dropped out of high school and moved to Tokyo, forming the band "Togenashi Togeari" with Kawaraki Momoka, Yasuwa Subaru, Ebitsuka Satoshi, and Rupa, and growing through music. It is attracting attention as a new girls' band anime that links the band formed by the protagonists in the story with a real band.
The TV anime aired from April to June 2024. The first volume of the series on Blu-ray and DVD has been extremely popular, with total shipments exceeding 23,000 units.
