It has been revealed that Nao Kosaka of the idol group "Hinatazaka46" will be an exclusive model (non-no model) for the women's fashion magazine "non-no" (Shueisha) from the May issue, which will be released on March 19th. Kosaka graduated from being a "Seventeen model" with the autumn/winter issue of the magazine "Seventeen" (Shueisha), which was released on November 15th last year.
Kosaka says that when she was in junior high school, she started reading the magazine after seeing Nishino Nanase, who was then a member of Nogizaka46, become a model for Nonno. Seeing Nishino's success made her dream of becoming an idol and a model.
In an interview for the May issue, which marks her first appearance as a Nonno model, she revealed, "When I put on the adult-like clothes that I had always dreamed of as a middle school student, the memories of when I imagined becoming a Nonno model came back to me, and I wanted to tell myself back then, 'You're really going to become one in the future.'" A preview cut from the feature in the same issue was also released.
Editor-in-Chief Nakagomi Naoko expressed her expectations, saying, "Kosaka is a model who can pull off any style of clothing that Non-no proposes. As a former reader herself, she has a deep love for Non-no and the magazine, so I'm looking forward to working together to create the pages."
