Suntory Beverage & Food International will relaunch its PET bottle green tea "Iyemon" on March 4th. In conjunction with this, they have appointed actors Nao and Yuzu Aoki as new image characters, and a new TV commercial, "Kyoto in your heart. Spring," will be broadcast nationwide from March 3rd.
The new commercial tells the story of a man (Aoki) who works in the city, who visits Kyoto for the first time in a long time and reunites with his university senior (Nao), who works as a local potter. The commercial depicts the scene of him spending a quiet time drinking "Iyemon" on a veranda surrounded by falling cherry blossoms, set to Hara Yuko's song "Hanasaku Tabiji."
The commercial's trailer, "Kyoto in your heart. A step ahead," will begin airing on March 1st.
