It was announced on February 26th that the Nippon Television variety show "100 Million People's Big Question!? Waratte Koraete!" (Wednesdays 7:54pm), hosted by entertainers George Tokoro and Shiori Sato, will be broadcast on Saturdays from 7:56pm starting in April. This will be the first time the show has been moved in the 28 years since it began airing in 1996.
The show's "move" was announced by Sato during the broadcast on the same day. Tokoro performed her own composition, "The Moving Song," and announced the move to Saturday at 7:56 p.m. in the song. "How about it, how about it, ah Saturday!" she sang fondly, before bashfully asking, "What's this?"
While keeping the concept of "introducing many wonderful people from all over Japan," the show will also feature the return of popular segments "Darts Journey," "Hashigo Journey," and "Wind Band Journey," which follows high school wind bands from around the country. In addition, there will be various trips that the whole family can enjoy, such as "Wedding Journey," which will give a big celebration to a wedding couple.
The music program "with MUSIC," which is currently broadcast at 8 p.m. on Saturdays, will be changed to 10 p.m. on Saturdays.
