The cast of the drama series "W Sai" (WOWOW), starring Teruyuki Kagawa, has been announced, revealing that Pistol Takehara and Kaito Miyachika from the popular group Travis Japan will also be appearing.
This completely original film depicts how a "man" played by Kagawa appears before six innocent characters living in modern times while harboring conflicts, and a certain "disaster" mercilessly befalls them. Who is the "man"? What is the "disaster"? When and to whom will the "disaster" befall them? The story is about the man's presence bringing about unprecedented fear... Nakamura Anne plays Domoto Midori, a detective at the Kanagawa Prefectural Police First Investigative Division who is pursuing the "man," and the film is directed and written by Seki Yutaro and Hirase Kentaro of the director group "Gogatsu."
Takehara plays Inspector Iida Tsuyoshi, who pursues the "man" played by Kagawa along with Nakamura's Domoto, while Miyachika plays young detective Kikuchi Daiki. Unlike Domoto, who investigates even the smallest possibilities, Iida is an old-fashioned detective who investigates using his veteran experience and detective instincts. Meanwhile, young detective Kikuchi is the character who sincerely supports his superiors Iida and Domoto in their investigations. When they get close to the truth behind the "disaster," they will witness a shocking horror.
In addition, Ryuhei Matsuda will play Ryuhei Matsuda Kuramoto, a transportation company employee with a history of killing someone in an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol, Jiro from "Sisonne" will play Fumiya Kishi, the manager of a debt-ridden inn who inherited it from his father and rebuilt it from scratch, Maki Sakai will play Misae Okahashi, a housewife with a troubled marriage, Sena Nakajima will play Yuri Kitagawa, a student preparing for exams who spends her days alone and worries about her tenuous family relationships. "Serial Drama W Sai" will start on April 6th. It will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand from 10pm on Sundays. There will be a total of 6 episodes, with the first episode being broadcast for free.
