It has been announced that Yuki Kaji will be appearing as a voice actor in the TV anime " Blue Box ," based on the popular manga by Kouji Miura . Kaji will play Matsuoka Kazuma, a second-year high school student at Sakae Mei High School. He is a central member of the boys' basketball club and is fluent in English after studying abroad in the United States.
Kaji said, "Perhaps because he is a returnee from studying in the United States, he is a person who can communicate frankly and closely with anyone. He seems to be particularly close to Chinatsu. I had fun playing the role of this slightly eccentric character while keeping that relationship in mind. It was very comfortable to dub the character with the popular young main cast and feel the youthful atmosphere. Please wait a little longer until Matsuoka-kun appears!"
The original work began serialization in April 2021 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha). Set at Sakae High School, a powerhouse of sports from junior high to high school, the story is about a youthful club love story in which Taiki Inomata, a member of the boys' Chinatsu Kano club, falls in love with Shikano Chinatsu, a senior in the girls' basketball club. The anime stars Shoya Chiba Taiki Inomata and Reina Ueda, as well as Akari Kito, Chiaki Kobayashi, and Yuma Uchida. It is produced by Telecom Animation Film. It airs every Thursday at 11:56 pm on the TBS network.
