It has been revealed that all dubbing for the TV anime "Run for Money: Run for Money," based on the popular variety show "Run for Money: Run for Money" (Fuji TV), has just been completed. A commentary video was posted on YouTube, in which Morikubo Shoutaro, who plays the main character Tomura Haya, Inoue Marina, who plays Nishinotoin Luna, and Daisuke Namikawa, who plays Tsukimura Satoshi, look back on the approximately two years of dubbing, talk about their thoughts on the work, and what to look forward to in the final chapter.
Inoue said, "It went by so quickly. It was so much fun to be able to compete with various characters and actors on various stages," in response to which Morikubo shared his thoughts on the final chapter, saying, "There are still many stories to come!"
On this day, as a surprise, Morikubo, Inoue, and Namikawa were presented with newly drawn portraits by manga artist Takeshi Okano, who is in charge of the original character designs. Inoue was thrilled, saying, "Wow, that's amazing! Thank you, Okano-sensei!", Morikubo, "I'm so happy to have a portrait of myself!", and Namikawa, "Really?"
A letter from Okano also arrived, in which she wrote, "Thank you to Morikubo-san, Inoue-san, Namikawa-san, and all the cast members of 'Run for Money,' for your hard work on the dubbing! Thank you for completing the long process over a period of about two years brilliantly. I was involved in the production as the original character designer, but when I counted, I found that I created over 100 characters. Each and every one of them has been brought to life by your voices, and I feel that it is truly a rewarding experience as an artist. The anime is finally reaching its climax. To be honest, I don't know what will happen next! I wonder what kind of story the cast and staff will create in the final chapter... As a fan, I am looking forward to it♪"
Regarding Okano's work on over 100 characters, Morikubo commented, "The teacher is truly amazing. But each character is unique and easy to remember!"
Regarding what to look forward to, Namikawa commented, "There's so much to look forward to! I hope you'll be on the edge of your seat and watch until the very end." Inoue said, "I think there will be some epic battles! Please keep an eye on the fate of all the characters until the very end," and Morikubo said, "As Soya, I want to make a safe escape, but there's more to it than that, so each episode will get more exciting, so please support everyone until the very end."
"Run for Money" is set in the future when humans have migrated to the moon, and a boy with outstanding physical abilities, Soya Tomura, challenges the entertainment survival game "Run for Money". It will be broadcast every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on Fuji TV and other stations.
