The fifth episode of the TV anime "Night of the Living Cat," based on the cat manga currently being serialized in "Monthly Comic Garden" (Mag Garden) and other publications, entitled "Cat Max," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels from August 4th.
A few months after the outbreak of the "Nyandemic," the world falls into the hands of cats, civilization collapses, and humanity is on the brink of extinction. This is the arrival of the "Nyapocalypse." While pursuing Tsutsumi, Kunagi and Kaoru meet a boy named Arata (a cat lover) who leads them to a fortress called Wendelstein.
The series is a cat manga written by Hawkman and illustrated by Mekarouts, which has been running since 2020. The story is set in the year 20XX, when a virus suddenly appears that turns humans who touch cats into cats, causing the "Nyandemic." Humans must resist the temptation to touch cats and try to survive in a world full of cats. The anime will be directed by Takashi Miike and directed by Tomohiro Kamiya, and produced by OLM, the studio behind "Pokemon."
