The fifth episode of the drama series "The Hot Spot" (Nippon TV, Sunday 10:30 pm) starring actress Ichikawa Mikako was broadcast on February 9th. Yumi (Kaho), who works at the same business hotel as Kiyomi (Ichikawa), puts forward her theory that her colleague Onodera (Shiraishi Junya) might be an alien, and the word "Onodera" appears frequently in the episode. However, Onodera himself has never been seen except in photographs, which has attracted attention on social media.

The cameras of Nippon Television's variety show "Late Night from Monday" have arrived in Kiyomi's town. Directors Kishimoto (Sosuke Ikematsu) and Matsuzaki (Oshiro Maeda) are interviewing people living at the foot of Mount Fuji to gather personal news. During the interview, Ayano's (Haruka Kinami) daughter Ritsuko (Haruna Hara) blurts out "there was a man who was really fast," referring to the alien Takahashi (Akihiro Kakuta). Kishimoto and Matsuzaki ignore it, but there are more sightings of a man with superhuman physical abilities after that.
Meanwhile, Yumi shows Kiyomi a bent 10 yen coin, saying, "I found something amazing." Yumi, who preaches the "Onodera-kun is an alien theory," believes that it is her colleague Onodera's doing... and so on.
In this episode, Kishimoto and his friends were staying at the business hotel where Kiyomi and her friends work, and they interviewed Yumi. Yumi showed Kishimoto and his friends a bent 10-yen coin and claimed that Onodera might be an alien. She also told Kishimoto and his friends that the "high-speed moving man wearing glasses" that was being talked about in town might be Onodera, and the name "Onodera" was mentioned repeatedly.
Meanwhile, a new project called "Onodera's Holiday" has started on the official drama site X. Selfies of Onodera with Mount Fuji in the background have been posted, but the main story ended without him making any appearances, except for the photo that Yumi showed to Kishimoto.
On social media, there were many comments such as, "Hilarious because he didn't show his face until the end," and "Onodera-kun only appeared in photos lol," as well as suspicious comments such as, "He's kept us hanging on this for so long, so Onodera-kun must have some secret!", "It'd be so funny if he's actually an alien," "Maybe Onodera-kun is actually an alien too," and "It's a mystery. I wonder if he'll get involved in the story later on," which attracted a lot of attention.
