The third episode of the TV drama " Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle? " starring Suzu Hirose (TBS, Friday 10pm) was broadcast on February 7th. The appearance of Prosecutor Anan, played by Takiuchi Kumi, became a hot topic on social media.

The drama is based on the manga of the same name by Rito Asami. It is a suspense story about the intertwining of "love and destiny" between a parent and child caught up in a false accusation case.
Prosecutor Anan is a prosecutor in the "Headquarters Section" of the Public Prosecutor's Office, which investigates serious cases together with the police's investigation headquarters. He is a merciless person who sometimes declares that "the police are incompetent," and is in charge of the arson and murder case of Haruo (Lily Franky).
In episode 3, Akazawa (Takahiro Fujimoto) visits Prosecutor Anan. As soon as he sees Akazawa's face, Anan instructs him, "I was just reading the records of Endo Tomoya (Ryo Narita) that you sent me. Please move in the direction of re-arresting Endo Tomoya for murder. Otherwise we can't prosecute him."
"There is no objective evidence that proves the suspect is the culprit, and if the evidence hasn't been cracked in the first place, do you understand that it's pointless?" he said with a smile. When Akazawa asked, "When you say crack it, do you mean you have to get a confession from Endo Tomoya now?" Anan replied, "Please crack it before he gets a lawyer."
Meanwhile, Akazawa hands Anan a copy of a letter addressed to Haruo's daughter, Kokoro Mugi (played by Hirose), which was found just before Haruo was murdered. After Akazawa leaves, Anan calls someone and says, "Thank you for your hard work. This is Anan. It's about Higashi Kayama. The letter from Haruo Yamashita has been found. It seems that his daughter gave it to the investigators."
