Emi Suzuki:Koki stars in her first film in 19 years as a charismatic makeup artist in "True Beauty"

It has been revealed that model Suzuki Emi will be appearing in the films "True Beauty Before: High School Debut" and "True Beauty After: Proposal" (directed by Hoshino Kazunari), starring model Koki,. She will play a charismatic makeup artist who helps Koki, discover makeup. This will be Suzuki's first film appearance in about 19 years, since she starred in "Bird Call" in 2006.

Selena, played by Emi Suzuki, is the character who leads Reina (Koki,), a school dropout, to discover makeup. She is an important character who supports Reina's strong desire to "never give up on becoming who you want to be," which is also the theme of the film, and Suzuki created the visual of Selena in the film using her own makeup.

Suzuki commented, "It's been a long time since I last acted in a movie, so it's very refreshing and an honor to be able to take part in a sparkling romantic comedy. The movie "True Beauty" tells the story of a girl who changes her life through makeup in order to realize the person she wants to be, and pursues her love and dreams over a period of nine years from the age of 17 to 25. The first part, "True Beauty Before: High School Debut", will be released on March 20th, and the second part, "True Beauty After: Proposal", will be released on May 1st.
