The first episode of ABEMA's romance reality show "Love Weekend Homestay 2025 Winter," starring Rizumu Tomikawa, the eldest son of former TV Asahi announcer Yuta Tomikawa, was aired on February 4th.
The "KoiSte" series is a romance show in which high school students who are serious about finding love get to know each other over the limited time of a three-week "weekend" and develop their romance during the time they cannot meet.
The male members are Tatemu (2nd year, from Tokyo), who was a finalist in the 36th Junon Super Boy Contest, as well as Kaito (1st year, from Tokyo), Taishi (2nd year, from Wakayama), and Daichi (3rd year, from Kanagawa).
The female members are Uta (a third year student from Osaka Prefecture), Mirei (a second year student from Hokkaido), Yukina (a first year student from Osaka Prefecture), and Runappi (a third year student from Saitama Prefecture), all of whom have experience working as K-pop idols, making a total of eight people, both boys and girls.
The first episode begins with an exciting meeting scene. Tatemu said in a pre-interview, "Everyone around me is starting to get a girlfriend, and I'm anxious, thinking, 'What about me?'" and "I'm a loyal person, so if I start dating, I'll make a picture of my girlfriend the wallpaper on my smartphone."
When asked about her first impression, Yukina was mentioned, praising her, saying, "Anyway, she was super cute. I feel like I'm falling in love." However, Yukina enjoyed their first date with Daichi at an amusement park, saying, "Everything he said was funny and fun. Personally, I feel like Daichi is the one who takes the lead, so I have big feelings for him now."
Meanwhile, Uta invited Tatemu to take a Purikura photo, and they took a lovey-dovey shot that would put any couple to shame. Uta told him straight out, "I told you there was one person I was interested in at first sight. That person is Tatemu-kun," and Tatemu looked embarrassed.
Tatsumu also shared his thoughts about Uta, who is an older woman, saying, "I can smile the whole time I'm talking to her, and even if I say something silly she just laughs it off. She has an older sister vibe and is very relaxed, which is great."
