Former Fuji TV announcer Nagisa Watanabe, who released her first photo essay "Toumei ni Naitou" (Kodansha) on January 29th, appeared at a launch event held in Tokyo. Watanabe, who appeared on stage in a white dress, talked about her thoughts on the book and her goals for 2025.
Watanabe said that he wrote the 50,000-character essay in about three weeks. However, he revealed that he has loved writing since he was a child and wrote a diary every day, and that he did not feel that writing this book was difficult, as he simply compiled the experiences and notes he had made over the past year and a half.
Regarding the newly shot photo section, she commented that she was conscious of each part and created photos with a transparent feel, without embellishment, so that each part would not feel disjointed. The shoot was carried out in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by her "best friend" sister.
At the end of the event, he spoke about his goals for 2025, saying, "To try anything without fear" and "To challenge myself to do things that I find fun."
This book is filled with the thoughts of Watanabe, who left Fuji Television at the end of August last year and started a new career as a freelancer. It is composed of a long essay of over 50,000 characters and a photo section that gives a sense of new territory. It is 208 pages and costs 1,980 yen.
