The second episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sundays 9pm) starring Tori Matsuzaka will be broadcast on January 26th.
In the previous episode, Mikami (Matsuzaka) called an article written by Kanzaki ( Daiken Okudaira), a student in class 3-2 and head of the press club, a "gossip article." He told Kanzaki, "If you're really willing to look into the darkness, let's talk here after school today."
After school. In the classroom, Mikami shows Kanzaki a photo of Saejima (Takako Tokiwa), who left Rintoku Academy after her affair was discovered through an article that Kanzaki wrote. Mikami reveals that Saejima has been divorced by her husband and now works at a convenience store, and says, "This photo is proof that the life that you dismissed as unimportant is still quietly continuing."
He continued, "You know that a murder occurred during this year's National Civil Service Comprehensive Examination, right? What if that incident is related to your article?" To the confused Kanzaki, Mikami said, "I realized, in the dark, that the incident, my misconduct, this school, and the Ministry of Education might be connected."
In the second episode...Kanzaki is troubled by the words of the emperor that there is a connection between the murder that took place at the exam venue and the adultery article that he leaked, so he goes to meet Saejima, a former teacher at Rintoku Academy.
As the truth becomes clear, Misao has the students debate Kanzaki's article. At the same time, Tsukada (Mitsuhiro Oikawa) and Makino (Masaki Okada) from the Ministry of Education begin to take action.
A murder case, an adultery article, Rintoku Gakuen, and the Ministry of Education. What is the connection between these things, and what is the murderer's purpose?
Takashi Mikami, a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, who wants to change the Japanese education system, is seconded to a private high school called Rintoku Gakuin. In reality, this is a demotion, but Mikami leads 18-year-old high school students living in the Reiwa era from the podium while standing up to authority, in this story of educational revival.
