The third episode of the TV drama "Private Banker" starring Toshiaki Karasawa (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm) will be broadcast on January 23rd.
Private banker Anno (Karasawa) receives a call from Saori (Anna Tsuchiya), the eldest daughter of the Tenmiyaji family, asking for help. Anno, along with his assistants Kumiko (Suzuki Honami) and Mikoshiba (Uesugi Shuhei), go to see Mikoto (Natsuki Mari), Saori's mother and vice president of the Tenmiyaji Aina Group. It was Mikoto who kidnapped Saori's son Kaito (Kawahara Eito).
Mikoto says she will adopt Kaito as a measure to prevent inheritance, but her true purpose is to thoroughly train Kaito as her successor. To make the adoption official, Mikoto asks Anno to get the consent of Saori and her husband Hiroki (Hiroshi Tamaki).
Saori, who cannot stand up to Mikoto at all, entrusts her husband Hiroki to refuse. Hiroki, an executive of the group, believes in the words Mikoto once told him, "I have high expectations of you," and says he can get Kaito back. However, in reality, Hiroki is secretly mocked by his subordinates as "the Tenmuji family's dog." In the end, Kaito is in danger of being taken away from him.
Later, when Hiroki refuses the adoption, he is demoted under the pretense of being promoted. Then Anno appears before him. Soon, Mikoto's terrible plan for Hiroki is revealed...
