It has been revealed that the opening theme (OP) for the February and March seasons of the "SPECIAL EDITED VERSION "ONE PIECE" Fish-Man Island Arc," a re-edited version of the Fish-Man Island arc of the TV anime "ONE PIECE," based on the popular manga by Eiichiro Oda, will be "We Go!", a collaborative song by VTubers from the popular VTuber group "HoloLive" and singers Hiroshi Kitadani and Maki Otsuki, who are known for the original opening and ending themes of the TV anime.
The opening theme for February will be "We Go! ~Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame with Otsuki Maki Ver.~" by "HoloLive" members Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame, and Otsuki. The arrangement will be handled by Kuga Maon, who also worked on the ending theme "Dear Sunrise" for the TV anime "Egghead Arc" sung by Otsuki.
The opening theme for March will be "We Go! ~Takanashi Kiara, Hakos Veils, Kobo Kanaeru with Kitadani Hiroshi Ver.~" by the unit "HoloLive English" Takanashi Kiara and Hakos Veils, and the unit "HoloLive Indonesia" Kobo Kanaeru and Kitadani. Music producers TeddyLoid and tepe will be in charge of the arrangement.
Kitadani commented, "This is a song that I've been singing in various places and situations for the past 14 years, and I'm recording it again! And it's a collaboration with everyone at Hololive! While there are parts with a pop arrangement, there are also parts that are timeless and energetic and powerful, so I hope you enjoy the new, more nuanced version of 'We Go!'"
Otsuki said, "This time, with 'We Go!' I had the chance to have a lot of fun collaborating with everyone at Hololive for the first time! I was also very happy that it was arranged by Kuga Maon, who I haven't worked with in a while! Otsuki appears like the final boss with a "Nun!" in her cute singing voice, so please look forward to it (laughs)."
Shirakami Fubuki commented, "I still can't believe that I can hear the voices of us Hololive members singing in the One Piece anime. I feel so honored to have been given this opportunity, and I'm proud to have been involved in a work that I love."

It's a dream come true to be able to take part in such an amazing project. This is the first time that the three of us have sung for an anime, so it's a great milestone for us. The TV anime "ONE PIECE" began airing in October 1999, and has been airing on Fuji TV every Sunday at 9:30 am since October 2006. From October 20, 2024 to March 30, 2025, there will be a "recharging period," during which the production team will be preparing to further improve the quality of the anime. During this period, the "SPECIAL EDITED VERSION "ONE PIECE" Fishman Island Arc" is currently airing. It has been announced that the broadcast time will change from April 6th, to air every Sunday at 11:15 pm.
"ONE PIECE" depicts the adventures of Luffy, a young man with a straw hat whose limbs can stretch like rubber, as he and his companions set out on an adventure across the open seas in an attempt to become the King of the Pirates. The series began serialization in 1997 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).
