On January 17th, the official YouTube channel of the TV Asahi variety show "Wanpaku Kazoku" released a video commenting on the marriage of comedian Shintaro Moriyama of the comedy duo "Mitorizu," who announced his marriage to an ordinary woman on the 8th.
The program's regular members, including his partner Lily, "Chidori" Nobu, and announcer Ayaka Hironaka, interviewed Moriyama in the studio. Moriyama revealed that he had asked Lily and Nobu to be witnesses to his marriage registration.
However, neither Nobu nor Lily have met the woman yet. Regarding his new wife, Moriyama said on a radio show that she looks like the professional wrestler Tetsuya Naito, but Lily revealed, "According to rumors, her face is almost the same as Nobu's... (laughs)." Moriyama quickly denied it, saying, "She's too ugly!", to which Nobu retorted, "Who's that?"
Finally, she said, "I was able to see such a wonderful family every week on '1 Night Family,' and I think that if it weren't for '1 Night Family,' I would have been married 20 years later. That's how impressed I was with '1 Night Family.'"
