The 48th episode of the 21st installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Wonderful PreCure!", entitled "Gaou's Friends", will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi at 8:30 a.m. on January 12th.
Gaoh and his wolf-like GaoGaoons appear from the dark clouds that hang over Animal Town. The Pretty Cures transform and confront GaoGaoon. Meanwhile, Nico shows Gaoh the people trying to protect the animals and evacuate them in the midst of the chaos in the town, and tries to persuade him, but Gaoh doesn't listen.
The Pretty Cures try to stop GaoGao while protecting the people and animals of the town. Nico desperately holds Gao back, but when she tries to save Neko and Meemee, Nico takes advantage of a brief gap and steals the power of NicoDiamond. As the Pretty Cures are cornered by GaoGao's attacks, Nico musters her remaining strength and shines light on Gao, cracking his mask.
The motif of "Wonderful PreCure!" is "animals," and the keyword is "Everyone's friends! Wonderful!". Set in Animal Town, a town where animals and humans live together in harmony, the story depicts the deep bonds that are woven between animals and humans, such as dogs and their owners, and cats and their owners, and the interactions that transcend species. The series, which began in 2004, is also attracting attention for featuring a "dog Precure" for the first time.
Maria Naganawa will play Cure Wonderful/ Komugi Inukai, Atsumi Tanezaki Satsumi Matsuda play Cure Friendy/ Iroha Inukai , Reina Ueda will play Cure Nyammy/ Yuki Nekoyashiki , and Reina Ueda will play Cure Lillian/ Mayu Nekoyashiki.
