Musical actor Yoshio Inoue serves as the MC for WOWOW's musical program "Live Broadcast! Yoshio Inoue Musical Hour 'Yoshio's Musical'". The 20th episode, which will be broadcast live on January 29th, will feature Maki Ichiro, Urai Kenji, Hirano Aya, and Ishikawa Zen, who will appear in the "CONCERT 'THE BEST New HISTORY COMING'" to be held at the Imperial Theater (Chiyoda Aya Hirano, Tokyo).
"THE BEST New HISTORY COMING" will be held from February 14th to 28th, and will be the last concert to be held at the Imperial Theater, which will be temporarily closed from the end of February due to reconstruction. Inoue, the program's MC, will also be a regular performer on all dates.
Inoue and the other four have performed together at the Imperial Theatre on numerous occasions. Inoue and Ichiro performed together in the musical "Elisabeth" in 2000, where Inoue made his stage debut as Rudolph. They also performed together in the revivals in 2001 and 2005. They also performed together in the 2012 musical version of "Rudolph the Last Kiss."
He has performed with Urai three times at the Imperial Theatre, with Inoue playing the role of Rudolph and Urai playing the role of Feiffer in the musical "Rudolph the Last Kiss" performed in 2008, and Inoue playing the role of Sydney Carton and Urai playing the role of Charles Darney in the musical "A Tale of Two Cities" performed in 2013. Inoue played the role of Sky Masterson and Urai played the role of Nathan Detroit in the musical "Guys and Dolls."
Inoue starred as Wolfgang in the musical "Mozart!" from its premiere in 2002 until 2014, with Hirano playing the role of Constanze in 2014. He co-starred with Ishikawa in the musical "Elisabeth" in 2005 and the musical "Marie Antoinette" from 2006 to 2007. Inoue, Ichiro, and Hirano also performed together at the concert "THE MUSICAL CONCERT at IMPERIAL THEATER" held in 2020.
The program will be broadcast live from the studio, and Inoue and guests will also be singing. They will also talk about the Imperial Theater, which holds many memories for them.
The 20th episode of "Live Broadcast! Inoue Yoshio Musical Hour 'Yoshio's Mu'" will be broadcast live and streamed live on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 10:00 p.m. on January 29th.

The most memorable experience with Yoshio-san was our first performance together in "Mozart!".
