A 60-second promotional video for the TV drama series "Honnou Switch" (TV Asahi, Saturdays at 11:00 p.m.), which will start on January 11, 2025 and star Kaito Miyachika of the popular group "Travis Japan" and actor Wakana Aoi, has been released on TVer and TV Asahi's official YouTube channel.
The drama is based on the manga of the same name by KUJIRA (Kodansha), and depicts the pure and devoted first love of adults, in which childhood friends Hijiri (played by Miyachika) and Koa (played by Aoi), who become involved through an unexpected turn of events and are forced to once again confront their sealed-away feelings for each other.
The promotional video also features scenes from Kiyoshi and Koa's school days, with the two of them in their school uniforms. The two grew up next door to each other, and there is even a "balcony jump" scene in which Kiyoshi jumps onto the balcony of Koa's house. The video also introduces the main cast, including Junki Tozuka, who plays Koa's co-worker and ex-boyfriend, a two-timing cheater; Kojima Ken from "Ae! group" as a cheerful, mood-making junior; and Nonami Maho, who plays Koa's confidant.
