It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime " Mission: Yozakura Family ," based on the manga by Hitsuji Gondaira currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast in 2026. A super teaser visual for the second season, depicting Taiyo Asano and the Yozakura siblings, was also released. The announcement was made at the "Jump Festa 2025" event being held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City).
"The Mission: Yozakura Family" is a "spy family comedy" that depicts the extremely shy high school student, Taiyo Asano, who marries his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura, the daughter of the strongest spy family, and works as a member of the spy family. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 3 million.
The first season of the anime was broadcast from April to October in the MBS/TBS anime time slot "Nichi 5" at 5pm on Sundays.
