A promotional video for the Past Myths arc of the new TV anime series "Aquarion: Myth of Emotions," the fourth season of the popular anime series "Aquarion," has been released on YouTube. The Past Myths arc depicts a world 12,000 years ago and plays an important role in the story. It was also announced that voice actors Junya Enoki, Nao Toyama Ishikawa, Nao Toyama, Ryota Osaka, Shiori Kawabata, and M.A.O will appear in the Past Myths arc. A key visual was also released, showing Aquarion and characters gathered together with Enoshima in the background.
Enoki will play Nanook, the son of Mark, the priest of the sun's light in Otorisakko's past life; Ishikawa will play Sedona, the eldest daughter of Atea, the priest of the moon's blessing in Amahamomohime's past life; Higashiyama will play Haida, Sedona's younger sister in Tsukisiromiya's past life; Osaka will play Sukuna, one of the three priests in Hatanotoshi's past life and the priest of the star of judgment; Kawabata will play Fudako, the past life of Ichikihana and Ichikisayo; and M.A.O will play Murua Satene, the goddess who gives protection to the three priests. The characters of the present day set in Enoshima will be involved with the characters from the past myth arc.
The new TV anime will be the fourth season, following "Genesis of Aquarion" which was broadcast in 2005, "Aquarion EVOL" which was broadcast in 2012, and "Aquarion Logos" which was broadcast in 2015. Set in Enoshima, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the boys and girls who attend Enoshima Private Academy, a private school that gathers talented students from all over the country, fight against mysterious invasive weapons and mythical beasts with Vector Machines, fighter planes powered by the power of emotions. It will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, TV Aichi, and others from January 9, 2025.
