The six-member city soul band "Penthouse" held a one-night-only performance "Penthouse ONE MAN LIVE 2024 "Laundry"" at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on December 19th. It was revealed that the performance will be exclusively broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in March 2025.
Penthouse was formed in 2018 by six people who met in a music club at the University of Tokyo. The band is popular for its sophisticated urban sound, centered around the soulful twin vocals of Shintaro Namioka and Maho Oshima, and produced by Hayato Kadono (piano), Shintaro Yano (guitar), Takuma Ohara (bass), and Tatsunori Hirai (drums). In June of this year, the band held a solo tour in five major cities. The concert at Pacifico Yokohama on December 19th was the band's largest venue to date.
