Bandai will release a role-playing toy for adults called "Dream Note & Dream Pen" based on the Dream Note and Dream Pen from the live-action drama "Wingman," which is based on the popular manga by Masakazu Katsura. The price is 16,500 yen.
The appearance of the notebook is reproduced using polarized molding material that changes color depending on the viewing angle. By replacing parts, the notebook's state can be switched between complete and incomplete. The Dream Pen can be switched from incomplete to complete by attaching the Dream Eraser and illuminating the LED. Dialogues from Kenta (played by Fujioka Makino) and Aoi (played by Kato Konatsu) are also included.
There are two modes, normal mode and transformation mode. In normal mode, every page of lines is covered when Kenta writes down the settings for Wingman. Parts that were cut from the movie are also included as original voices for the toy. In normal mode, you can switch to transformation mode by playing the sound "Chain!". In transformation mode, in addition to the voices of Wingman's special moves used in the movie, sound effects can also be activated. The anime's opening theme "Different Dimension Story", ending theme "Wing Love", and background music are also played.
It will be exhibited at NARIKIRI WORLD 2024, a Bandai role-playing toy-themed event to be held at Gallery AaMo in Tokyo Dome City (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) from December 20 to 22. Reservations will be accepted from 4:00 pm on December 19 on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for June 2025.
